More Birthday Spoils. (and the water picture answer!)

by Joshua on September 6, 2011

Well, I got the Pokemon Black bundle (which I am enjoying very much right now), my great grandfather’s pocket knife, and 60 pencils along with a sketch pad. I really much prefer to get a couple of things I really want, more than get a lot that I sort of wanted so I am happy.

And Battra, just so you know, when I get farther into a game, I am open to wi-fi Pokemon battles. ;)

Also, for those of you that were guessing about the water picture, it was taken on top of our van in the morning after the rain.

I need to actually restart playing Black. My fiancee and I were really into Heart Gold and Soul Silver but thanks to wedding planning we haven’t been playing it so much.

It’s very cool about your great grandfather’s pocket knife. I like to joke and say part of being a man is knowing how to use a knife properly but it’s really handy for everyone. Respect it and it will be a handy tool for the future.

On a side note, I was at a county fair this weekend and saw a show about snakes (it included a Burmese Python, an Amethystine python, a Boa, an American rattlesnake and a few others whose names I didn’t write down. Very cool show and I’m sure you would’ve enjoyed it as it was all science based and not like a circus.

I was close on my guess about the water picture! Great job on that one!

I think it’s really neat that you got your great grandfather’s pocket knife. That’s something that you can cherish and pass down to your son one day.
