Gray Area

by Joshua on November 23, 2011

You all know the phrase, “gray area”, don’t you? Well it’s been a different kind of grey area around these parts.  And there’s more rain for today.

Yay. (in massive sarcasm quotes)

There is beauty in the stark contrast between the gray sky and the trees. You captured it well in this photo. I love these days because they make me contemplative, reflective, and more appreciative of the sunnier days of autumn. Thank you for sharing this photo.

I think your photo is beautiful. I happen to appreciate black and white landscape photography. Have you seen Ansel Adams photos of Yosemite? I believe that he would set up and sometimes wait for long periods of time in order to catch just the right shading and light on his subject. I look forward to your photos because you seem to have a good eye for composition. Keep up the good work!

I try hard not to let gray days affect my mood, but man, I just can’t shake it sometimes! I am grateful for beautiful weather today (the sun! oh the sun!). And even more grateful that Turkey Day will be 60 degrees out in Chicago! :) Yay!

I strongly dislike winter weather! Summer is the season for me!

On the bright side, the photo looks nice, almost like a black and white…only mostly gray. LOL
